Stephane Desjardins
Stéphane Desjardins is a French-language journalist, writer and essayist. He is a consumer and personal finance columnist for the Journal de Montréal/Journal de Québec and a freelance journalist for a large number of media, including L'Actualité, Le Devoir, Le Soleil, Science Presse, Virage, Vélo Mag, Protégez-Vous, Ski Presse, HRI, HEC Mag, Affaires+, 24 heures, InfoPresse, le 30, Conseiller, Jobboom. He was the founder of the hyperlocal newspaper network Pamplemousse.ca and managed several media outlets: Revue Coopoint, Canal Argent, Finance et Investissement, Québec Inc, Journal de l'Assurance, Accès Laurentides, La Ville à Vélo, Le Mentor, Géo Plein Air. He is the author of the book Le Rapporteur and the guides Le courtage en ligne and S'en sortir quand tout va mal. He is also the co-author of the guides 99 trucs pour s'enrichir and 99 trucs pour s'enrichir, Spécial retraite He has biked, skied, canoed, and hiked all over the world and, most of all, admired the sunsets from the terrace of his home in Sainte-Adèle.
